Focus of the sporting event’s inaugural Baton Run, the clean form of the KL2017 Baton draws directly from the ubiquitous shards of the Games’ visual identity. Its triangular cross section, based on the strongest geometric shape, represents strength in unity. In kempas, a tawny non-threatened species native to Southeast Asia, with a satin finish pewter finial.
