In Streamline, a collaboration between Royal Selangor and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, the stylish reinterpretation of a motif from a Marion Dorn (1889 – 1964) rug of 1935 in the museum’s collections captures the era’s overlapping obsession with glamour, function and technological modernity in a range of strikingly elegant home accessories.
