Ganesha is one of the world’s most renowned Hindu deities; with worship transcending denominations, affiliations and even faiths. Taking the form of a four-armed elephant-headed god, Ganesha is revered as the remover of obstacles, a bringer of good luck, and a figurehead of wisdom and intellect.
Royal Selangor brings a brand-new addition to Divinity; a collection presenting deities from the pantheon of Hinduism.
Ganesha Figurine XL
The revered Lord Ganesha, in XL, sits on a composite resin lotus dais with a plate of modak; his trunk curls languidly to sample one. The front right palm, raised in the Abhaya mudra (gesture of protection), displays the Om, the prime symbol of Hinduism. The right and left hands at the rear hold the Axe of Vishnu and a tether respectively. A mouse symbolising the keeping of temptation at bay rests at his feet.
Previously, the Ganesha figurines were launched in small, measuring 11cm tall, and large, at 16cm tall.
The Ganesha XL figurine is available at Royal Selangor stores, authorised dealers, and online at royalselangor.com from 24 March 2023 onwards. To learn more about our new collection launches, follow our Instagram @royalselangor and Facebook page.
