The orangutan Pongo pygmaeus belongs to the world’s four genera of great apes, as does the human species. It is the most arboreal of all great apes, with a diet consisting almost entirely of fruit. Our sensitively realised sculpture of this critically endangered animal is in brilliant finish pewter.
